Hooma is looking to give you a platform on which to launch your funnier selves.
Join Hooma favourite Trish Dunn as she takes you through the basics of stand up performance, joke writing and handy hints and tips.
All beginner levels welcome, whether you're brand new and lockdown has inspired to take up comedy or before the 'event' you'd done a few gigs and want to brush up before going back out into the circuit.
7th, 14th, 21st, 28th April 730pm-830pm £20pp (full course)
The course will consist of:
1) Intro to comedy and joke writing. 2) Developing jokes 3) Delivery 4) Stage presence, persona and character.
The aim is to get you comfortable to write a 5 min set ready for the stage, where we will organise a graduation performance in the summer for all our students to celebrate and put to the test what you've learnt (date TBC)!
