Tweet🎤 HOWL IS BACK… AND WE’RE KICKING OFF WITH A HUGE ONE! 🐺
After our summer break, Howl Comedy Club returns to The Market Place, Morpeth on Saturday 26th September, and we’ve put together something a little bit special for our comeback. 🔥
We’ve got top circuit talent, some brilliant North East comics and an award winning headline improv show to finish the night.
If you’ve been to Howl before, you know what to expect. Fresh line ups, proper stand up, brilliant atmosphere and some of the best comedy talent we can get our hands on.
If you haven’t been yet, September is a very good place to start. 🐺

🤩 THE LINE UP
💥 HEADLINERS: THE HALLS OF RIDICULOUS
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ THE BEST SHOW OF THE FRINGE
“A real highlight, comedy improv at its best.”
We’re finishing the night with something completely different.
The Halls of Ridiculous bring their brilliantly unpredictable blend of improvised comedy, characters, sketches and absolute chaos to Howl.
With improv, anything can happen, and probably will. No two performances are ever the same, making this a completely unique headline show created right there in the room.
🎙️ HOST & MC: AL STEVENSON
“Fun, fierce and gloriously unfiltered.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Having provided tour support for Mark Nelson, Al is a fearless and hugely entertaining comic who’ll be taking control of the room and keeping things moving throughout the night.
🔥 OPENER: LOUIS ETIENNE
“You’ll enjoy every moment he’s on stage.”
A brilliant performer with bags of charisma and a natural ability to connect with a crowd. Louis will be kicking off the comedy and getting the room properly warmed up.
🤣 MIDDLE: IAN YOUNGHUSBAND
“Great timing and stage command.”
Sharp observations, strong delivery and plenty of laughs from another cracking North East comic.
🐺 MIDDLE: ADRIAN HANLON
“If your intrusive thoughts started doing stand up.”
Observational, inappropriate and occasionally wondering why he said that out loud. Expect a slightly warped look at relationships, getting older and the ridiculousness of modern life.

If only the hostess of the venue hadn’t been talking to her friends throughout the entire evening it could have been a lot better. One of her friends took a phone call and then relayed the entire rambling conversation to her pals! The bar staff were sluggish at their best and the wine glasses were got had to be washed especially and that wasn’t the best of jobs! The event was good, from what I could hear over the princesses though I have never seen a compete getting an introduction, very odd, they are, and in last nights case, were more than capable of sorting the introductions. All in all, love the comedy but the venue was poor at its best. I’m back to The Stand later in the month, they can run comedy shows!

Seats were uncomfortable, the room was split in half. Great to see local comedy and comedy from local comedians. Room could have been better laid out. But still had a great night.
