TweetDragged by the wig from her seat in Westminster, Babs Romance MP holds a scandalous press conference and reflects on her absurdly privileged life and sketchy career as a Preservative Party minister. Splintered within this PR opportunity are parody pop songs, audience interactions, multimedia elements and of course a saucy poem about pearl necklaces to bring to life Babs Romance's account of events, with immersive references and a vibrant mix of performance styles, in this drag satire.
Babs For Life was first performed at Edinburgh Fringe 2023. Here it was described as "very clever and satirical, as well as cutting right through the bone" by FringeReview. LBC’s Fraser Knight described it as "[s]o unbelievable it could be real. Painfully funny and on the mark.", with Broadway World calling "[t]he character of Babs Romance MP [a] fantastic example of satirical drag."

Absolutely hilarious, we had a wonderful evening and at a crazy low price. If you like comedy then you have to give these folks a chance!

It was a brilliant evening and I will definitely come back with my friends! The comedy was great and loved the atmosphere. The only disappointment was that we weren't allowed to order snacks eg olives or chips which are available at the venue downstairs.
