The Laughing Pug Comedy Club presents:
"How do you forgive your father’s murderer? Only Chris knows.
"Inspiring uproarious laughter, tears of sincerity and standing ovations, Chris’ conscientious comedy and cutting-edge poetry makes for a truly unforgettable show."
'Forgiveness is a masterclass in confessional comedy.'
‘An electrifying performance of naked honesty.’
‘Plenty of food for thought...Heartfelt and often intense.’
'Big, old-fashioned, belly-laughs... a unique comedy voice.'
"Following a series of impressive performances at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and being cancelled from his London shows for using 'Un-PC language'
This show was ‘banned’ from the Soho Theatre in London.
But although it won plaudits both there and at the Edinburgh Fringe, plans for a return run have been cancelled over fears about the language used.
Chris has gone on to sell out the prestigious Backyard Comedy Club in London and now he is back in TEESSIDE!!
The Teesside stand-up – who describes himself as an ‘anti-PC, pro-free speech, working-class comedian’ – had successfully performed Forgiveness to rave reviews all over the country and now he is back home.

Great performances but the venue, lighting and atmosphere left more to be desired

The content and projection was absolutely first class from Chris McGlade. Will defo pop along again and would recommend to a friend.

Funny and provocative: a masterful blend of heart wrenching tragedy and its sublimation into cathartic release through laughter - the most divine pressure release valve.

Absolutely brilliant night, been to see a few comedians but none can match the passion Chris puts into the performance, would highly recommend to others and book to see future performances.

Best comedy night I've ever experienced. Thought provoking, funny and emotional. I'll be honest I shed a tear on my way home thinking of what you've been through. Only one tear mind you, the rest of my journey home was spent laughing heartily at the way in which you got your story across. Unbelievable tekkers to be able make something so solemn and sad so outrageously funny.
