Hi there, it is with regret that we have had to take the difficult decision to cancel the show on Thursday 11th May in Bedworth. It would be unprofessional of me to go into details here, but things beyond our control have affected our ability to deliver the competition in an effective way. We will look to reschedule this particular Heat of the Midlands Competition. I thank you so much for showing support to the event, and I am pretty sure this is a one off situation. In the meantime I will give you refunds now, and this should be back on the card you paid with in the next 5 working days. Please contact me should you not have your refund by the middle of next week. Unfortunately refunds will not include ticket fees, its those fees that pay the 3rd party company for facilitating payments and refunds. Thanks again, apologies for the inconvenience and keep supporting Doug Carter and his shows in Bedworth.

Tweet5 comedians will battle it our for a place in the final of the Midlands Search For A Start by Comedy Hotspot. You the audience decides who those finalists will be, and the overall winner will get a cash prize and a paid slot on one of Comedy Hotspots big stages.
5 acts in each heat will do 15 minutes of their best material, at the end of the show the audience will vote, and the winner announced on the night. Comedy Hotspot will choose the best 2nd place act to potentially go to the final as a wild card.
You will need a Smart Phone to vote as voting is done through a QR code.
Comedy Hotspot are one of the best comedy promoters in the country (I got the trophy to back that claim up !!!!), and that means the room will look great, the show will run properly and the atmosphere will be electric. See you at the show
