Share:
TweetRoasted Comedy presents another 'Scratch Night' featuring a double bill of two rising stars presenting previews of their brand new shows! These nights are perfect for comedy lovers who want to get involved in the creative process and enjoy the nuts and bolts of building a show, with these two acts workshopping new material and show structures as they hone their ideas ahead of the Fringe in 2027 - expect big laughs, big ideas, and a little bit of chaos...
CHRISTOPHER BEANLAND: SMALL PLATES RUINED MY LIFE
Christopher is fuming about sourdough, matcha, gentrification, hipsters, Love Island, pop culture, the media, Temu, Kazakhstan, Birmingham; and wondering if an unhealthy obsession with brutalist architecture is ruining his life? Also - when did we stop believing that the future would be better? Have we just given up on progress? Winner: West End New Act One To Watch Award 2025, multiple finalist: Independent Podcast Awards, BBC Midlands Today, BBC Radio. 12k on TikTok. Work In Progress.
