We are The Tits!

Hi! I'm Kelly Griffiths and in February this year I had a little idea to create a new comedy platform for working-class, underrepresented female identifying performers, writers and directors. that little idea has lead to 2 sell out shows in Birmingham and Nottingham resulting in my performers having their sketches picked up by producers and filmed, landing agents and growing in confidence to take their sets to bigger stages. 

 We come in all different shapes and sizes, some are scarred, some are a bit wonky but are all wonderful, beautiful and unashamedly female!

As a working class performer/writer from the Midlands I feel there is a huge gap in the industry where Women here are being criminally misrepresented or unseen. My mission with this platform is to create events showcasing women in comedy who then have the opportunity to network with the industry professionals I invite to their performances.

I have been invited by Nottingham Comedy Festival to team up with them to champion the female portion of the run and so will be taking 2 evenings of variety nights and an entire day of 1 hour, 1 woman shows from 7th-9th November at The Carousel. 

What’s next? In 2026,  I’ll be hosting comedy and networking events quarterly throughout the Midlands and teaming up with Funny Women’s Glitter Project to truly showcase the incredible talent we have here.
