Rob Deering performs stand-up comedy with music, using a guitar, a loop pedal and his voice to create impressive rock and pop soundscapes – and do jokes, of course.
Along with being one of the most in-demand headliners on the UK circuit, he’s toured nationally and performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe many times since starting out in comedy in the year 2000. His late-night, live-music comedy pop quiz Beat This is a festival institution, on London’s South Bank, at Wales’ Green Man and many more.
Rob has performed throughout the world, in shows from the Middle East to Melbourne, Shanghai to the South of France. He has appeared on any number of radio and TV shows, often using his extensive knowledge of film, popular music and… well, ‘general’; he has won Celebrity Mastermind and a comedians’ special of The Weakest Link on BBC One.
He also recently ran all over Britain for BBC 6 Music. Yes, Rob runs, presenting the podcast Running Commentary with fellow running comic Paul Tonkinson, and fundraising for his favoured charity Parkinson’s UK; he has run seven marathons. He produces and hosts Parkinson’s UK’s annual gig Shake With Laughter at London’s Comedy Store, where he is also a regular member of the Cutting Edge topical comedy team.

Jason Patterson is an award-winning comedian who started out in comedy in 2006 and since then he’s performed at comedy clubs all over the UK including. He won the Comedy Store Gong show and went on to perform a series of impressive spots there. Jason's strong performances have led to him being nominated for Best Newcomer at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards.

Just 14 months after her debut in 2010, Njambi was voted 1 of 5 top up and coming female comedians 2012 by Fabulous magazine She was shortlisted for the BBC Radio New Comedy Awards a year later. She has guested on shows like Saturday Live for BBC Radio 4, received a half-hour profile on BBC World service and has been showcased on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4Xtra. She has written and performed four hit Edinburgh shows to critical acclaim.
Njambi is an blogger, podcaster and author currently working on her second book, blogger and podcaster. She is fluent in 3 languages.

The Constitutional is a members club, with events open to members and guests only. Membership costs £1 per year.
We advise that our comedy events are suitable for ages 15+ only. Acts may use strong language and explore mature themes.
Access - There are currently two small steps at the entrance to the club, which is on the ground floor of a historic building. We are currently in the process of purchasing a ramp to allow wheelchair access and will update this listing once it is in place. We have no hearing loop at this time. Guide dogs welcome.
