Geordie joke merchant and philosopher of 26 years and counting Gavin Webster, one of the original post modern stand up comedians from the North East is here at The Brewery Tap to do an extended set plus a support and a compere for the evening. The bloke that did national TV panel shows before they came mainstream and pish, the comedian that did the last ever broadcast of the legendary Stand Up Show on BBC1, a feller that's supported Sean Lock and Kevin Bridges alongside Jack Dee, Jason Manford and Phill Jupitus on tours and someone who was in Ken Loach's North East classic film 'I Daniel Blake' as well as being voted 'Comedian's Comedian' by his peers in 2014, a poll voted for by his fellow comics. Don't miss out on his live show that will include classic routines that he has a cult following from the back of like the BBC world service or the Gateshead third reich alongside Pandas and Kenny Hitler. Expect sardonic and fast paced ukulele comedy songs as well.
