Be among just 50 people in Cardiff who can say you saw X or Y's show before it went on to win all the plaudits - and possibly the Perrier - in a couple of months time.

PIERRE NOVELLIE

"Phenomenally good jokes" -The Guardian

"Well crafted, hilarious routines" -Sunday Times

Pierre Novellie is a South African comedian based in London. He is a correspondent on BBC2’s The Mash Report hosted by Nish Kumar and performed on the most recent series of Stand Up Central on Comedy Central. He previously had a regular role in the three-part Channel 4 Comedy Blap, Outsiders, as well as appearing in the Joke Thieves pilot for BBC2 opposite Marcus Brigstocke, BBC3’s Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live and 4OD’s comedy series Taxi Gags and a guest on Frank Skinner’s Radio 4 panel show The Rest is History.

An acclaimed live act, Pierre has supported Hal Cruttenden and Gary Delaney on their national tours and was nominated for Best Club Comic at the 2017 Chortle Awards for two years running. His previous Edinburgh shows have been well received by both audience and critics alike, with his last two shows placing in the top 20 best reviewed comedy shows across the entire Edinburgh Festival in 2017 and 2018, and receiving five-star reviews from The Metro and EdFestMag, four and a half stars from Chortle and four-star reviews from The Scotsman.

CHLOE PETTS

Chloe Petts's "inexhaustibly funny mind" (Diva Magazine) and "compelling presence" (Steve Bennett, Chortle) has established her as one of the most exciting acts on the circuit. She is an alumna of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve at Edinburgh Festival, has been shortlisted for the BBC Comedy Award, was a finalist in the most recent Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Awards and runner up in Funny Women Awards 2017.

She was recently heard on BBC Five Live’s Fighting Talk and has appeared on Channel 4’s Random Acts and BBC 3 Quickies.

She is a co-founder of The Lol Word, a queer comedy collective that hosts sell-out monthly London nights, boasting the finest female and non-binary queer acts on the circuit. Their most recent Edinburgh run was a sell-out.

Hosted by LORNA PRICHARD

BBC Sesh star Lorna was a TV reporter and news presenter before having a life crisis and turning to stand up. Since swapping headlines for punchlines, she has performed at Edinburgh and Leicester Comedy Festivals, won a comedy award in San Francisco, and MC'd many events from a TED talk and charity balls to festivals, a car rally and even a cat carnival.

"A warm and natural MC who puts the audience at ease." – Nick Page
