October 27thth brings our popular comedy night back to The Ivy Bush in Pontardawe ! So join us for a full professional line-up of hilarious stand-up comedy!

As always we have TWO headline acts on one night!

Our acts are as follows…Our first headliner is -

Phil Cooper

Charming Welsh comedian Phil Cooper brings a unique blend of storytelling and smart jokes to any stage.

As well as live stand-up in the U.K./Europe (as an MC or set), he also has experience in TV, radio and warm-up.

In 2019 he appeared on BBC Wales Stand-up for Sesh.

"Makes comedy look simple, a true talent" - Fosters Comedy

"Impossible not to be drawn into his expertly delivered dialogue as he riffs off audience interactions - Top class comedian" - Ministry Comedy

"Very impressive. Had everyone in stitches. We will certainly be having him back again and again" - Eminent Comedy

Our middle act for the night is -

Kirsty Davies

Kirsty first performed comedy in July 2019, to over 500 audience members at the Glee Club, Cardiff. Since then she has performed with some of the most outstandingly funny people in the South Wales and Bristol Comedy Community.
Having taken on the role of comedian, full time in January 2022, she has now performed across South Wales and is working on expanding her comedy reach, across the UK.

Our Second Headliner is -

Steffan Alun

Steffan Alun is a TV presenter, radio host and actor – but he does those things in Welsh, so you won’t have heard of him.  First and foremost a comedian, he has supported Elis James on tour, has performed full runs at the Edinburgh Festival every year from 2015, and is a familiar face at the Machynlleth Comedy Festival since 2013.  He recently completed his first tour with the solo show Romantic Comedy, after a hugely succesful run at Edinburgh, adding extra dates due to popular demand.

Influenced by his upbringing as a monolingual Welsh-speaker, Steffan’s stories and observations about life in English-speaking UK delight audiences in comedy clubs, arts centres, and theatres across the country.  With strong opinions about everything from … well, actually, no, literally everything – he cuts to the quick, without ever going for the cheap shot.

The Night as always is Hosted by our very own resident MC -

SIMON EMANUEL (As seen on BBC Wales 'Stand-Up for Sesh')
