Shoe Cake Comedy presents:
A little break from our usual monthly Shoe Cake Comedy stand up & improv show as we welcome local lad Dean Moore to the Georgian Theatre Shoe Cake stage with his hit solo show 'Willie Thorn looks like Tosh from The Bill'
Dean Moore, human male dog owner, father and friend of Pato Banton.... one of the nicest guys in comedy, he looks strange, he is strange!
Have you ever noticed how Willie Thorne looks like Tosh from the Bill? Well Dean Moore did and we have more of Deans Hilarious brand of observational comedy on Thursday October 8th
If you like your wildlife, Dean knows a Goose that looks like Vince Clarke from Erasure which he kindly informed Radio 1's Greg James about - live on the radio during the Middlesbrough Big Weekend.
Dean once sang down the phone to celebrity chef Rustie Lee and performed 'ragga' live on stage with his good friend Pato Banton at Middlesbroughs Base Camp.
As featured on BBC 2 and Radio 1 as well as being part of the Grin Up North team, you are in for a right trip with this observational delight of a show!
Plus we have support from Carl Hutchinsons tour support act
MCing the night is Middlesbrough Super Fan and Internet sensation
Star of Boro Fan TV and hit Teesside podcast 'Ted Talks - The Ted Hanky Podcast', Ted has been compared (by some idiots) to the great Steve Coogan with a hint of Vic & Bob and a sprinkle of Rik Mayall ... but nowhere near as good like.
"Long live Ted Hanky"- Tom Stade, Comedian
" Ted Hanky. Wonderful character act with a a lovely turn of phrase"- Halfpenny Comedy Club
"Ted Hanky had the audience falling about the place in hysterics, and he wasn't shoving them either"- Howard Walker, Comedy at Mill Valley Brewery
“Ted Hanky is weirdly wonderful and is sure to make any comedy audience laugh - flashes of Steve Coogan”- Steve Rimmer, Hull Comedy
"Ted Hanky is the Salvador Dali of comedy, hilariously bizarre to watch, a wonderfully daft character and will have you giggling all the way back to his allotment... Hilarious!"- The Laughing Pug Comedy Club
