In his all- new one hour show ‘Monkey Mind‘ , Mike Milligan honestly tackles the question asked of many comics “how do you get your ideas?” He does this by looking at his own experiences and knowledge gathered from over 30 years in the business. You’ll find out why the inability to focus in class turned into a blessing on stage, and a recent diagnosis of adult ADHD answered many a teacher’s and drill instructor’s lament of ‘what’s wrong with that boy?”
From Buddhist philosophy to modern psychology, he takes us on a whirlwind tour of the workings of comedic creativity - with a rich sprinkling of personal anecdotes, comedy ‘war stories’ and brand new material to illustrate the journey he shares with the audience. You’ll see how our everyday lives are just packed with the absurd and the hilarious, just waiting for a Monkey mind to come along and point it out to us!
