Paul Little presents:
Weird and wild comedy is on!
Dick Denham closes the show.
Each show is a blend of the brilliant, strange, previously unseen and the hilarious with a tribe of comedians performing in a series of 5 and 10 minute spots.
Until your headliner closes the show with a longer set.
MC Luke Terry will look after acts and audience throughout tonight's show.
WAFP was created to provide maximum stage time for open mic comedians, and indeed, acts of all levels.
Proven funny or emerging hilarious. We Are Funny Project bring it.
It's free though donations on the night are welcomed.
Farr's is just 100 metres from Dalston Junction and 4 mins walk from Dalston Kingsland.
Dick Denham is a non-binary thirtysomething comedian, writer, and humanist wedding celebrant based in London, originally from the Isle of Wight.
A hit with queer and straight crowds alike, Dick has audiences in stitches with their surreal observations on being genderqueer in a heteronormative world, and the aspects of British culture that we all love to be indifferent about normally.
“Really fun!” – Zoe Lyons, comedian
“I love Dick! […] a joy to watch!” – Stephen Bailey, stand-up comedian and television presenter
“Wonderful” – Jordan Gray, actor, writer, and comedian
“So much fun” – Ella Vaday, Runner-up, Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK Series 3
Jeroen Bloemhoff is a comedian from the Netherlands, but with a British sense of humour and Italian sense of fashion. Or at least so he likes to think. Jeroen is a self-deprecating comic, but has enough confidence to think he writes good jokes, with absurd observations and clever punchlines.
Dylan Dodds is is a comedian with 7 years experience. Dylan took a little break in 2020 to have a baby (and for no other reason...). He has done two split show runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and debuted his solo show in 2019..
