SIX WEEK FOUNDATION COMEDY COURSE WITH THE JEFF INNOCENT COMEDY ACADEMY

Every SUNDAY 2pm to 5pm (unless otherwise stated) - Showcase on Sunday 12th April.

A six week intensive comedy course with award-winning comedian JEFF INNOCENT, a headline act on the world stand-up circuit for over twenty years and winner of The British Comedy Awards BEST LIVE STAND UP 2016.

Covering the foundations of comedy in a friendly, supportive, workshop environment designed for total beginners and new acts wanting to improve by going back to basics. Also suitable for those seeking to transfer the skills learnt to other spheres such as acting and public speaking. At the end of the course all students will be invited to perform a five minute stand-up set to showcase their talents to an invited audience of friends and family on stage.

ABOUT YOUR TUTOR

Jeff Innocent is a very popular and extremely experienced stand-up comedian, actor, writer and cultural commentator. As a stand-up comedian he has reached near legendary status among his peers and audiences alike, by staying at the top of his game for over twenty years. His has won and been nominated for countless awards including UK COMEDY AWARDS BEST LIVE STAND UP 2016, CHORTLE COMEDY BEST STAND UP 2014. NORWICH COMEDY FESTIVAL BEST IN FEST 2014.

He continues to cement his position within the premiership of British comedians with his weekly performances at clubs like The Comedy Store, Up The Creek, Top Secret and Hot Water.

Previously a lecturer on popular culture at the University of East London, Jeff has also run comedy workshops in universities, prisons and corporate weekends.

FEES

The fee for the whole course is £250.

We can accommodate split payments for this event for any individual that maybe struggling to afford the entire fee in one go. Please note payment must be made in full before March 15th. Any outstanding payments will result in the individual(s) not being accepted onto the course.
