The legendary Happy Mondays Comedy at The Amersham. Kick off your week in style , come hear brand new jokes & fresh ideas from stars of TV, Radio & Stand Up comedy circuit in a friendly atmosphere.

Happy Mondays Comedy are very excited to bring you a fantastic night of comedy including the hilarious comedy talents of Carl Donnelly Star of Mock The Week, Dave TV & Two Vegan Idiots Podcast, “Observational genius” - The Guardian, much loved comedy circuit fave brilliant South London comedian , beatboxer & impressionist Stefano Paolini , visiting Welsh comedian Eleri Morgan ( BBC Sesh, Machfest) , Subversive observations by this UK-based Asian-American comedian Rick Kieswetter providing the lols , all hosted by MC Siôn James at the ever popular Amersham Arms New Cross.

We are operating the event strictly in accordance with the Government’s guidelines and our experience of hosting a variety of socially distanced events over the last 21 months to help you have a safe and enjoyable visit , reduced capacity and with some of the procedures previously in place to reduce transmission risk.
 
We want you to be comfortable , relaxed and safe while enjoying some great live comedy!

Spacious venue with a selection of reasonable priced pub drinks plus vegan food is available.
Front Pub Bar is open all day. Please arrive early if plan to eat.

Carl has been nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award twice, won a bunch of other awards, appeared on a selection of TV shows (Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News, Dave’s One Night Stand, Russell Howard’s Good News , Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled etc) and travelled the world having performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The New Zealand Comedy Festival and pretty much every other comedy festival there is.

Eleri Morgan
Comedian, writer and actor from West Wales. Funny, charming and a little bit manic, Eleri is a regular writer/contributor for BBC SESH, BBC WALES, BBC CYMRU and S4C and has performed at gigs throughout the UK, including the Edinburgh Fringe and Mach Comedy Festival. She is also a regular in the improvised Sitcom ‘Tourist Trap’ on BBC One Wales.
