The legendary Happy Mondays Comedy at The Amersham. Kick off your week in style , come hear brand new jokes & fresh ideas from stars of TV, Radio & Stand Up comedy circuit in a friendly atmosphere. 

Happy Mondays Comedy are very excited to return to the live real world stage of the awesome Amersham Arms and bring you a fantastic night of comedy including much loved circuit favourite Irish Iranian Geordie Patrick Monahan , visting US Comedian Kelly McInerney (Appeared on popular podcasts Doug Loves Movies and Getting Doug With High), Helen Jenkins ( So You Think Youre Funny Semi Finalist , Visiting Irish comedian and star of RTE Emman Idama plus rising star Preet Singh providing the lols , all hosted by your cheeky MC Sion James at the Amersham Arms.

We are operating the event strictly in accordance with the Government’s guidelines and our experience of hosting a variety of socially distanced events over the last 18 months to help you have a safe and enjoyable visit , reduced capacity  and with some of the procedures previously in place to reduce transmission risk.
 
We want you to be comfortable , relaxed and safe while enjoying some great live comedy!

Spacious venue with air conditioning and a selection of ice cold drinks plus vegan food is available, please arrive early for food.

Patrick Monahan
Much loved, energetic, charming Irish/Iranian Geordie and multi award winning comedy circuit living legend.

Emman Idama
Visiting Dublin based comedian, originally from Nigeria, Idama regularly performs at all the major comedy clubs and festivals in Ireland and the UK.He has starred on and written for shows such as Des Bishop’s “This is Ireland”, RTE’s “The Year That’s in It”, as well as working as a presenter for RTE’s coverage of Electric Picnic in 2017. Also a presenter for his own weekly radio show on Dublin’s “RTE Radio Pulse.”

Kelly McInerney
Visting US Comedian , Kelly has performed all across the US including the Improv, the Punchline, UCB, Blue Whale Comedy Fest, Memphis Comedy Fest, Bird City Comedy Fest, and Big Pine Comedy Fest. I also showcased in Mexico City and Baja Mexico. Appeared on popular podcasts Doug Loves Movies and Getting Doug With High.

Helen Jenkins
Helen Jenkins is a new comer to the circuit that in her first two years of comedy has performed at a handful of international clubs in Tokyo and Paris and was also a well received semi-finalist in the 2019 heat of So You Think Youre Funny at the Edinburgh Fringe. She has a smooth charisma that balances out her thespian delivery that makes her a delightful performer.

Preet Singh:
Stand up comedian, writer, podcaster and radio host. First hitting the London circuit in March 2018 he has quickly established himself as a reputable new act.
