Safe, socially-distanced and still the best value comedy show in London, we are delighted to be returning to The Colonel Fawcett with more tremendous acts from the UK and International Festival circuit.

MAISIE ADAMHaving only started on the circuit in 2016, Maisie's warm anecdotal material and self-deprecating charm have quickly won her praise up and down the country. After winning the two most prestigious new act competitions - So You Think You're Funny last year and Amused Moose - she also garnered a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe.  Since then she has appeared on QI, Have I Got News For You and Mock the Week and its pretty clear that even bigger things are on the horizon. She is a comedian who leaves the audience belly laughing, giving standing ovations, throwing roses onstage, naming their babies after her - but most importantly, she is a comedian who never exaggerates.

"Exudes an appealing, quirky energy and is clearly a natural wit." Chortle

"There’s something incredibly watchable about Adam – whether it’s her effervescence onstage, finding jokes in the minutiae of life or her fantastic physicality. Inevitably she’ll be compared to a young, female Peter Kay, except her jokes and performance are far more eccentric." The Skinny

OLGA KOCH Having lived in Russia, Germany, the US and the UK Olga has the unique ability to speak confidently and hilariously on current affairs both global and personal. She has trained at the UCB Theatre in New York, The Soho Theatre Young Company and The Free Association Improv program and holds a degree in computer science from New York University, which often inspires her work.In 2018, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for her debut hour, Fight, which premiered at The Pleasance Courtyard and was described as "a hybrid of a John le Carre novel and an episode of Black Mirror" by The Evening Standard. In 2019, she embarked on a sell out tour of Fight and recorded the show as a Special for BBC Radio 4.

Olga has also appeared on Mock The Week, The Now Show, The Blame Game, BBC Arts Hour, Pls Like and King Gary.

“Koch is a peppy performer and gets a lot of laughs from a full house as she fires off joke after joke.” The List

“A performer who wears her politics so lightly, so hilariously, and so devastatingly on her sleeve.” Fest

ALI WOODS
Ali is a new comedian who has just been crowned New Comedian of the Year at one of the most prestigious awards in the country.  Sharp, lean and accessible, his material and delivery are pitch perfect to rock a room - whether it's a an intimate room above a pub or huge theatre.

"The finished article...in a world of wannabes, Woods is the real deal." Evening Standard

"Wins over the crowd with his vigour... a club-ready comic." Chortle

ROGER O'SULLIVAN

AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:

BEN VAN DER VELDEOne of the quickest wits around and a much-loved compere, he always brings a jam-packed back of nonsense, silliness and wisecracks to every gig he hosts.

"Sharp and crafty gagsmith, a life-giving compere." Chortle

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.”  Huffington Post
