Hi All,
Having just returned home from A&E, I have bad news. Many of you will know I had an operation on the 18th December to remove Bowel Cancer. During that operation, they sever a tube they should not have done. Fast forward 11 month and I am still really struggling with the consequences of their error. I have a stoma that is nothing but pain on discomfort on a daily basis, I have been working through that despite doing damage every time I take a drive. I also have a nephrostomy, which is a drain from my kidney. The tube they severed was my ureter that takes urine from my kidney to my bladder. So the stoma brings me regular pain and discomfort. The Nephrostomy gets infected easily, and an infected kidney is no joke. Its extremely painful, I lose my appetite and can also impact kidney function.
I need to take time out and look after myself because I am neglecting myself and making things worse.
It really is regretful that I have had to postpone the show on Friday 14th November. I do not take these decisions lightly, especially so close to the show. It has a significant impact on comics, my income and it severely impacts those who have already bought tickets for the show, and for this I can only apologise. I particularly apologise to those people who bought today while I was sat in A&E. I tried to take tickets off sale but they internet in the hospital was pretty much none existent.
I do have options to offer you. This was to be the last show of 2025, so the next show in 2026 on Friday 6th March.
I can offer to move your tickets to that show, or I can offer you a refund.
Sadly I cannot refund the ticket fees as they are taken to process payments and keep your financial details safe. This is frustrating I know, at least by rolling your tickets to March means you do not lose this money.
Again, I am so sorry. Come March next year, the idea is they will have fixed me and I will in some way heading for normality.
Please let me know your preference, and again I can only apologise.....it really was my only option.
