Another night of 1st class comedy at the Pavilion! A very exciting show this month...

JAYDE ADAMS

Dawn French says “Jayde Adams is the 3rd funniest woman in the world. Fact,” and she might just be onto something. Now she brings her latest comedy show 'The Ballad of Kylie Jenner's Old Face' to the Pavilion!

As seen on 8 Out Of 10 Cats does Countdown, Comedy Central's Roast Battle & BBC's upcoming TV show Good Omens. In 2019 if you want to be a 'successful independent woman person' you better have something you want to say and you better be wearing a Serious Black Jumper™. In her SBJ™ Jayde will rifle through all the noise and self-promotion and figure out wha's actually going on.
'Britain’s Funniest Woman comic' (Daily Mail) has put the sequins and showbiz in a box (for now), "She’s a star" said The Guardian after last years extravaganza - but if you want to be a successful woman in 2019 - it’s time to get serious. If pop stars, razors and even sausage rolls can attach themselves to important movements to sell themselves, why can’t Jayde Adams?

"Glamour, glitter and a deconstruction of modern feminism? Now that’s divine." (Fest Mag)
"There’s little doubt that Adams is anything but stardom bound" (Evening Standard)
"A naturally comic storyteller. She's hilarious" (Independent)
"A poised performer with a wealth of potential. Jayde is anything but jaded" (Chortle)

Besides being nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2016 Edinburgh Comedy Festival, making the BBC New Talent Hotlist 2017 Jayde has recently appeared on our screens as a guest on Roast Battle, Live At The Comedy Store, The Chris Ramsay Show (Comedy Central), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), 8 Out of 10 Cats (E4), Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit (Dave) and Russell Brand’s Stand Off for Comic Relief (BBC).

Her acting credits include Russell Howard’s A Gert Lush Christmas (BBC2), A Spencer Jones Christmas (Sky Arts), and Borderline (Channel 5) alongside Kerry Howard. Jayde has hosted a TV pilot for Comedy Central and written and starred in her own BBC 3 Top Ten short Affordable Meats. 2019 will see Jayde host Amusical for Comedy Central bringing the cult live musical show to the screen for the very first time, as well as a brand new podcast with Scott Mills for BBC Sounds. She is also the face of Sun Bingo. It’s hard to believe that she started out life as a fishmonger in Asda, and had no idea that she was any good at anything.
