Penarth's hit Friday night comedy club is back with another red hot line up including the unmissably amoral JOHN ROBERTSON headlining our Halloween special...

“A manic and quick-witted revelation” – The Scotsman

JOHN ROBERTSON is an Aussie comedian with a well cut suit and a cult following. He’s also a TV presenter, columnist, multimedia artist, games designer, crowd-surfer and recreational sadist. He first came to public attention in 2003, when he went down to Australian Idol and faked a seizure on national television. In 2012, he created “The Dark Room”, a viral YouTube hit-turned-live show, which now tours the world. He has provided tour support for Mark Watson, Wayne Brady and Rob Schneider, before making his debut at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2010. His show “A Nifty History of Evil” won the Critic’s Choice Award at the Wild West Comedy Festival, established his UK cult following and brought him to the front page of the BBC News website. A comic you would be mad to miss out on, especially a week before Halloween.

“NOT TO BE MISSED” - The Guardian
★★★★★ “Strides onstage giving precisely zero f*cks” - The Skinny
★★★★ “a splendid comedy beast” - The Scotsman
★★★★ “this is astute, amoral comedy for the morbidly-inclined” - The Age
★★★★ “a triumph” - Herald Sun

LEROY BRITO

Cardiff-bred superstar Leroy Brito regularly headlines in comedy clubs throughout the UK. He has just recorded his latest stand up special for Radio Wales, and will be returning to TV screens this Autumn in series two of Tourist Trap, the hit BBC sitcom. The busy father-of-three will also be starring in a new sketch show on Radio Wales later this year.

“Risky at times but never crude and always uniquely observational” (Buzz Magazine)

“With a unique take on family life and everyday struggles, Leroy’s easy going stage presence and slick delivery leave a lasting impression” (Cardiff Comedy Festival)

MC - LORNA PRICHARD

BBC Sesh star Lorna was a TV reporter and news presenter before turning to stand up. Since swapping headlines for punchlines, she has performed at Edinburgh and Leicester Comedy Festivals, won a comedy award in San Francisco, and MC'd many events big and small - from comedy nights, festivals and car rallies to a cat carnival!

"A warm and natural MC who puts the audience at ease." – Nick Page

"A really good comedian." – Lloyd Langford
