The White House has decided to swap out the traditional Calibri font for the more playful Comic Sans in all official communications. This decision comes just after Marco Rubio's short-lived attempt to introduce Times New Roman, which was quickly rejected by Trump for being too stern and reminiscent of homework.
In a statement, the White House expressed a desire for a typeface that reflects the decorum and values of the Trump Administration. Comic Sans, known for its playful and casual appearance, is seen as a suitable match for the administration's style.
The first document formatted in Comic Sans, an 18-page briefing titled "The Case For Starting A War With Venezuela," has been released. While the content remains serious, the font adds a surprising touch of light-heartedness.
All departments have been instructed to transition their communications to Comic Sans immediately, including the nuclear codes, which will now sport a reassuring header: "If You’re Reading This, Please Stay Calm."
