The iconic satirical show Spitting Image is returning, but this time it's hopping onto the digital bandwagon with a new YouTube series titled The Rest Is Bullshit. A teaser episode, running for a delightful 11 minutes, has been released featuring some of Britain's favorite puppet characters.

Hosted by none other than a puppet version of Prince Harry—who humorously confesses he's 'trying to make a shit ton of money out of podcasting'—the teaser also features the real Paddington Bear who hilariously admits to addictions that extend beyond his beloved marmalade. As if that wasn't enough, the episode also ropes in Elon Musk for a guest appearance, while sketches explore the comedic possibilities of Donald Trump chatting with President Putin.

The series is penned by comedic maestros Al Murray and Matt Forde, who previously collaborated on a musical stage show featuring the satirical puppets, aptly named Idiots Assemble.

Produced by Avalon, the company behind the 2020 TV revival and the musical, Spitting Image: The Rest Is Bullshit is described as a fearless, no-holds-barred satirical assault on politics, pop culture, and media control. Whether from The White House or Windsor, from Putin to Paddington, this series aims to be as outrageous and hard-hitting as its predecessors.

The short-form episodes are directed by Matt Stronge and are expected to launch in the autumn, though an exact date remains a mystery. The title itself is a cheeky nod to the podcast family launched by Gary Lineker's Goalhanger production company, which includes titles like The Rest Is History and The Rest Is Politics.
