The voting public has cheekily reminded Wes Streeting to back off his leadership ambitions because giving Keir Starmer the boot is their job, and they can't wait to relish the moment.
Rumors of a Labour leadership plot have prompted voters to assert their right to boot Starmer out, as they were the ones who elected him in the first place. Martin Bishop from Saltash humorously remarked, "We never got to watch Boris Johnson realize the country detested him. We’re owed this."
Helen Archer from Blyth added, "I know the next election seems ages away, but if anything, the anticipation makes the eventual hammering all the more satisfying. I’ll vote for literally any other party with a smile on my face."
Streeting, perhaps slightly bemused, commented, "Relax, like everything else Labour tries to implement, this will fail. All thanks to the shortcomings of the previous administration."
