Dutton Hoping England Beat His Record for Worst Defeat in Brisbane This Year

Former Opposition Leader Peter Dutton is nervously awaiting the second Ashes Test, hoping England might suffer a loss more humiliating than his own political defeat in Brisbane earlier this year.

Experts say both Dutton and England have a knack for turning an unassailable lead into a crushing defeat. Analyst Mark Harrow noted, "There’s certainly a history there of collapsing under pressure, especially under lights. And England has a tendency to collapse too, but usually not quite so spectacularly."

Harrow remarked that England's recent performance, where they lost by 8 wickets despite a strong lead, still pales in comparison to Dutton's defeat, where he was on the brink of becoming Prime Minister but ended up losing his seat.

Dutton’s aides admit it would take a miracle for England to match the magnitude of Dutton's Brisbane result, even if England were bowled out for a very low score.
